I lost my job as a yoga teacher at a yoga school because of COVID. For the first month, I was happy for the break and the relaxation and rejuvenation. But soon worry crept in as it started to look like a longer than usual break from work.
It seemed that my friends and family too started having emotional issues because of ‘work from home’. I started getting messages for online yoga sessions, which I never wanted to do because my yoga practice is like worship. Still, since the situation demanded, I started taking online classes.
Thanks to the kindness of my circle and their support, I can work from home, help my loved ones manage stress and anxiety, and make the most of this lockdown/pandemic/new world order.
