While everyone writes amazing stories on how they were kind to others, here I want to write about how I received kindness from a cab driver. I was travelling alone by train. The train was delayed by nearly 3 hours. I live on the outskirts of the city which becomes deserted. It was nearly 10 p.m when the train reached my station. I have never been in such a situation before, so I was terrified. One cab driver refused to take me after hearing my destination. I started panicking. My friend did not agree to pick me. The second driver came and the journey began. I prayed to God to reach home safely.
Upon reaching home, the driver told me that he thought it was a different location with a similar name (which was near to his home). As it was getting late he wanted to take a ride towards his home. But my place was in a direction opposite to his. My heart was filled with gratitude. I tipped him twenty Rupees extra (I didn’t ask for change back). I regretted that I should have given more. But I thanked him from my heart and told him about the train getting late.
I pray that the cab driver gets back his kindness.
