Sometimes something so simple can touch our life. While traveling overseas, I couldn’t keep up with my regular use of the BL app. Recently while flying back home, a stranger reminded me of the importance of being kind to people around me.
Before boarding the plane, I managed to buy a new book written by Sadhavi Vrindaji and was l looking forward to reading it. I was in the middle seat with strangers sitting on either side. As I settled down and started reading, the crew served drinks and refreshments. I got a glass of orange juice, and as I tried to adjust myself, the juice spilled on to the book. I was devastated since my books are so precious. I tried cleaning it with the only tissue I had.
At the same time, a stewardess approached the guy sitting next to me who was watching a movie. And to my surprise, my co-passenger asked me if I would like another glass of juice. I thanked him and told him that more than anything, I needed more tissues. He quickly requested for tissues and a drink for me. And he continued to help me every time he noticed I needed help. His kindness touched me.
My other neighbor, a lady, continued to enjoy her movie and glass of wine, oblivious to the juice spilling episode. This whole experience made me realize how important it is to keep an eye on the people around us, watching out for those who are in need. I ended my journey with a reminder of BL Raks and how they keep me on track. Grateful to the team for creating this gem.💖
