Today my younger sister and I visited a church. Some of the kids were selling candles, while others were barefoot. I felt terrible for them. I purchased one pair of socks for one guy, but I couldn’t find him. Then I saw a little girl who was selling candles. I gave her the socks and told her to wear them. But she wore them the wrong way, soI sat her on a chair and showed her how to wear them correctly. The policeman standing nearby appreciated what I had done.
Before I left, one lady asked for money. But I told her I would not give her cash, but that I would be happy to buy her something she needed. She asked me for a pair of shoes which I bought for her. I felt really happy and thankful that I was able to do this.
